EXPERIENCE
Matthew Bryant first joined Bain Capital in 2009. He is a Managing Director in the Insurance team, investing in the Insurance sector in Europe, and is based in London. Matthew initially spent ten years with Bain Capital until 2019, and rejoined the firm in 2026 after a further seven years working in Private Equity and focused on financial services elsewhere.
Previously at Bain Capital he was in the European Private Equity team, investing in a range of assets with a focus on financial services. Matthew started his career as a management consultant.
EDUCATION
Matthew holds an Masters in Physics from Oxford University.
